Happy Atelier is a gluten-free bakery in the heart of Stockholm, born from a mission to bring joy, warmth, and uncompromising quality to those who can’t (or choose not to) eat gluten.

We’re completely free from gluten, oats, and lactose — without ever compromising on taste or beauty.

Our Story

Founded in 2018 by French-Brazilian baker Léonor, our bakery began as a personal quest for real, delicious bread that felt like home. After moving to Sweden and struggling to find gluten-free options that didn’t taste like cardboard, she began developing her own recipes. What started as a small kitchen project has grown into one of Stockholm’s most beloved gluten-free destinations.

Stéphanie
, our Chef d’Atelier, brings true French soul to our baking.
Ana, originally from Brazil, keeps our kitchen structured, warm, and running smoothly.
Tati is the first one in the bakery every morning — she’s the one behind your favorite loaves, baked to perfection at dawn.
Samy, a pastry chef trained in France, creates stunning desserts while he’s with us (he’s off to Japan soon!).
And at the front, you’ll be greeted by friendly faces — though the team may rotate, our hospitality stays the same.

We believe everyone deserves to feel included — no matter your restrictions or preferences. That’s why we’re open every day, always improving, always experimenting, and always striving to raise the standard of gluten-free baking. Many of our products are also vegan, and people constantly tell us: “this tastes just like the real thing.”
